The above inspirational quote from former President of India, Shri APJ Abdul Kalam holds true for the founders of MIE, who not only dreamed big but were also able to put their thoughts into actions to eventually realize their dream.
The start of a journey...
As is typical of middle income group families or “Middle Class” families as they are generally referred to; the founders of MIE were pursing respective careers, trying to move up the corporate ladder, while moving from one job to another. However, there was this inherent entrepreneurial streak in them that kept fueling the fire of starting up their own venture someday. MIE is the culmination of the dreams of two very good friends and now partners – Prathamesh Veling and Vishal Bhojani.
Having first met during their management studies, both became very good friends. In fact, they were like 2 forces of quantum physics operating at same frequency, resonating together to create a positive energy around them. Highly ambitious, they were not averse to taking risks. Their common belief says it all, ‘One should go as far as possible to see how far they can reach”. Post the completion of their course in 2012, Prathamesh started his career in Market Research & Strategy while Vishal moved into the world of Finance and Investment Banking.
"Starting Up"
In the following 5 years, they honed their skills in respective fields, working for top corporates. Overcoming the struggles that a fresher usually faces, their respective careers grew well. For them - Growth was the only goal in their minds. However, in 2017, they became sure that though a good job can give them a good career but not a successful and complete life. It was during this time that the desire to lead a life of some significance, where they can do something for the society and contribute to the larger goal of our country took hold in their minds.
What made them choose this area? Having faced it themselves and seen scores of fresher struggle in their first jobs and then getting disillusioned with their jobs; the founders of MIE felt that for India’s overall development, this NEEDS to change. And, they would want to be catalyst of this change.
With this thought and purpose; these first generation entrepreneurs decided to let go of their dynamic and growing career and started MIE (Magic Institute of Excellence) – a company that they are building on a strong foundation of principals, business ethics and attitude of doing something for this country and her youth.
